This may not be the answer you were looking for or the answer you expected, but it’s the only true answer to this question. Of all the things your soul could want, in all the infinite boundlessness of its existence, nothing will ever be more significant than your soul’s desire to just be you. Oh, if only you could fully understand what this means. Being you is like taking the trip of a lifetime… like going to a place you’ve dreamed about forever, and getting to immerse yourself in it fully. The culture, the flavors, the beauty, even the unique heartaches and challenges. Because it stays with you for always. It changes you, doesn’t it? It informs who you are and the way you see and experience everything else. Being PRESENT in it, for the time that it lasts, is the most incredible gift. That’s your soul’s perspective on you. You are here to EXPERIENCE it, the world and yourself. To feel, to love, to laugh, to hurt, to see it, to breathe it in, to KNOW it. To notice everything. So try not to take it for granted.
